WORM GEAR MOTORS ESQ

Worm gearboxes are one of the most common types of gearboxes. NMRW worm gearboxes today represent an advanced solution for solving modern problems and meet the basic requirements of the market in terms of efficiency.

The worm gear elements are: a worm (steel) with a worm wheel (bronze). A worm is a shaft with a thread cut on it, made of steel. The worm wheel is a bronze wheel with an oblique arrangement of teeth and a special profile. When the worm rotates, its coils move along the axis and transmit rotation to the worm wheel. The worm wheel is located perpendicular to the worm. The distance between the planes of the axes of the worm wheel and the worm determines the size of the gearbox. In worm gearboxes, this size is part of the gearbox designation, which determines its size.
